I was at Walgreens last night writing a check. As I always do, I took my Bullet Pen out of my purse and played with it a little before opening it up and using it. I like to do that because I like to show it off and I like to savor the writing experience. I started thinking about that as I was waiting for my receipt and it made me feel sad for all the people who can’t enjoy their pens. Whether its letter writing or bill paying, there is so much more enjoyment when you are using a handsome, high quality writing implement. I am making it my mission this Christmas to give my loved one’s the Fisher Pen experience. I gave a few Space Pens last year and I am still being thanked. I am excited this year because I can also choose from theHandmade Pens at Cyber Space Pens. The Crushed Sunflower Shells Carbara is one that I become more fond of every time I look at it. It has a masculine look to it, I can see my brother loving it. It comes with the Triangular Maple Wood Box which serves as a holder as well as a display. I will definitely have it engraved … I just haven’t figured out what to put on it yet.
What is it about boys and flashlights? Every Christmas I get a couple to stick in their stockings and you’d think it was the latest and greatest video game. So, I wasn’t surprised when we were browsingCyber Space Pens site for a suitable birthday gift for Grandpa and they zeroed in on the Space Beam. Oh my goodness, you’d have thought it was the Holy Grail! A small argument followed as my daughter was not on board with the idea … she was aiming for the Chrome Golf Ball Pen. We reached a compromise and decided to save the Golf Ball Pen for Christmas. I knew Grandpa would like it, but I didn’t quite expect the scene that followed …. “Wow, check it out! Look at it when I shine it out the window! It’s so sharp! Let’s go down the basement and test it out!” I guess boys never outgrow flashlights! I just hope Grandpa has outgrown the need to take them apart!
“Look, at it when I shine it on the TV! Look at the ceiling when I do it this way!” It never ceases to amaze and amuse me. Of course, within 48 hours my boys have to take them apart to see how they work and if they could reassemble the parts in a different way and make something cooler.

Ladies, how many times have you pulled your pen out of your purse and
it didn’t work? Granted, it’s not the end of the world, but it is
highly annoying. Well, Fisher Space Pens has a solution to that problem too. The Fisher Stowaway Series Pens are inexpensive and perfect for your checkbook, purse, or day planner.
The Stowaway’s come in three styles - without clip, with clip, with clip and stylus - and three colors - red, blue, and black. These are very slim, capped pens. When they are capped they are a compact 3-7/8 inches long and when they are ready to write they are 5-1/4 inches long. Like I said, perfect for your checkbook, purse, or day planner.
Though they are non-refillable, they still have the pressurized ink cartridge and will write at any angle and in nearly any circumstance. All of the Stowaway Pens come with black ink and a medium point.
Another great option in the non-refillable category is the Rocket Series Pens. These pens are not as small and compact as the Stowaways, but they have the same basic great features. They are inexpensive and reliable! These are retractable pens and come in red, black, blue, and silver. They each come with a fine point cartridge with ink that matches the color of the barrel of the pen.
These make great gifts, but they are inexpensive enough to justify buying for yourself!

As I was sitting here pondering which awesome Fisher Space Pen
to write about today, I just started looking through the site. I
realized that my favorite pen depends on my mood. Two weeks ago, the X-750 Pens were my heart’s desire. They are just so professional looking - though the Blue X-750 does add a bit of fun to the mix.
Before that, I was all about the Lime Green Bullet Pen with the Golf Ball on it. How could anyone not love that pen? I always refer to it as the happy little pen. I do not even golf - but I love that pen!
The most predictable pen for me to like - if you know me - is the Titanium Coated Bullet Pen - Black Titanium Nitride. It’s simple, sleek, and just really cool looking. I love simple cool looking things.
Well, as I looked through the site this morning, I was surprised to discover that is I were to receive my choice of Fisher Pens today, it would be … (drum roll) … the Translucent Lacquered Bullet Pen - Red Cherry with Clip. I know, the picture sort of gave away. I am not even that fond of red but I really like the way this pen looks. All of the Lacquered Bullets are so vibrant and I think the chrome clip really sets off the color. Yes, it’s a woman typing this entry!
Though the pictures on the site show the pens well, what they don’t show is how small they are with the cap on. They are less than four inches long. When you remove the cap and place it on the other end for writing, the pen looks full-size. It really is something to open up that box and see that little pen in there. You will definitely want to keep these in mind as gift ideas. You can even by the set of five and save money. Then you’ll have them and you can just decide who to give them to. Good luck with that … you’ll want to keep them for yourself!

Just in case you missed it, there is a new Fisher Space Pen in town. Some wonder how it could have taken this long for Fisher Pens to get around to making a bullet pen out of a real shell casing, but it doesn’t matter, because it’s here. The .375 H&H Bullet Pen is capped pen that uses the .375 Mag Shell case as the cap.
Okay, for those of us who know nothing about guns and bullets …. what is a .375 H&H Mag Shell Case? Thank you Wikipedia - I have my answer. The “.375″ refers to the bullet diameter. The “H&H” stands for Holland & Holland, the British Company who introduced this bullet in 1912. The “Magnum” part basically means it carries a big boom. The “Case” means you have the shell without the inside part that carries the big boom. So, it could be referred to as the .375 Diameter Holland & Holland Big Boom Bullet Shell Pen … kind of fun to say, but not very practical.
If you look at at a real .375 H&H Mag rifle round and then you look at this pen … it’s pretty neat. Go ahead, look up an image and compare. Wikipedia also informs me that the maximum cartridge length is 3.6 inches and the Bullet Pen comes in at just under 4 inches (with the lid on). Not too shabby.
Now don’t you just want to buy this for someone? You might be a little late for Christmas, but it’s always somebody’s birthday! Keep this Bullet Pen in mind!
