I have really pondered my Fisher Pens purchase. It’s just so hard to choose who gets what. This year I opted to spread the love far and wide and order several Rocket Pens. They have the Fisher Refills, so those in my life who have yet to experience the joy of having a pen they can count on EVERY time, will soon know the thrill. Since they are so inexpensive, I had to get one for myself too because I temporarily lost my prized Bullet Pen after using in in the bank drive-thru (it fell in the crack of the car seat). I decided that I am not grown-up enough to keep that one in my purse! I also picked the Military Cap-O-Matic pen for my nephew. He just got out of Iraq and will be able to be home for Christmas. He has a few more years left to serve and it looks like next year at this time he will be back in harm’s way, so I wanted to give him something special. I think I am more excited about his pen then any other I have given. Merry Christmas! And if you have to venture out to do your shopping …. don’t be grumpy!
There is a blizzard coming to Iowa today, which makes it a perfect day to get a little Christmas shopping done … online style. I really do not like shopping the old-fashioned way, not because of the weather … I absolutely love Iowa winters. It’s the grumpy people the scare me … not very Christmassy if you ask me!
It’s
freezing here! It might get down to -21 tonight and tomorrow night! I’m so
happy, because this is just the weather to go out and test my Fisher Space Pen. I thought I’d get up
early and lounge on the deck while writing in my journal and balancing my
checkbook. Okay, maybe not. My Fisher
Pen is a little tougher than my skin and frankly I am not sure I could find
my chairs under all that snow. Besides, I already know my pen wouldn’t fail
me.
If you are not up on the Space Pen guarantee, I would love to take this opportunity to offer an explanation of the Pressurized Fisher Refills, except that I really don’t understand them. All I know is that they are pressurized and that means that they won’t dry out and they don’t rely on gravity so these refills can write upside and in space … which they get the opportunity to do often. Fisher Refills will also perform in extreme temperatures and even under water. You can read more about them at CyberSpacePens.com.
The best part about these refills is that they are inside some really stylish pens. Hmmm … stylish doesn’t seem like a strong enough word. Stop by and see them for yourself!
