My nephew is currently serving in Iraq and my mom has asked me to pick out a Fisher Space Pen to send him. I am not sure which one to get him and I have neglected to sit down and take the time to decide, then it occurred to me … I can make my decision as I my blog.
So, let me consider the Military
Cap-O-Matics first. I like the matte black finish because I think in an
environment such as Sean is in, a subdued finish is better. Also, I think the
black looks better it if happens to be sticking out of his pocket. As to the Army
Seal or the Word
Army, I think I prefer the seal. I hope he does too! The upside to a Cap-O-Matic
Pen is that there is no cap to mess with … but will that really be an
issue? Hmmmm….

me ponder the Military
Bullet Pens. I have to say, I am partial to all of the Fisher
Bullets - because I think they are just so cute - they are less than four
inches long with the cap on. I am not sure if my 1LT nephew would want a pen
that I find “cute.” I love the Chrome
Bullets … and could be tempted to go that route … but this pen is not for
me! If I pick out a Bullet I would definitely want the clip with it so my mom
would have to buy it separately … unless I go with the word Army since the clip
comes with the word pens.
I think I have made my decision. I think Military and Bullet just go together, so it will be the Matte Black Military Bullet Pen with the Army Seal and a Black Clip to go with it. I also think Mom will have it engraved. I feel much better now!
